Kids LOVE the beach. What a great family vacation! It's a chance for grandma and grandpa to invite their adult children, and more importantly, the grandkids. And really, isn't that what's it's all about! Come on, we all love our kids but grandkids give us another chance to relive the great days of discovery of youth. Your kids may not be able to afford a get-away vacation at the beach, but they'll love you for inviting them and the kids. And the kids love the beach.

I have a 5 year old son and I agree with what you have said that kids love the beach. My son really loves playing in the sand and even swimming. Thumbs up!

Richard - enjoy everyday you have while your kids are young. You'll still love them when they get older, but they get more independent as they hit 17. Then they'd rather go to the beach alone and find girls!

Yes, kids do love the beach including the rest of my family. Everybody in my family love the beach so much! We found it relaxing and it is our bonding moment.

That is so cute. I was browsing the net when my daughter Mica, went in front of my laptop and pointed on the cute baby. She was telling me how she'd like to wear her cute dress on the beach as well. This week, we are to go to Panama City beach vacation rental and spend the weekend and her birthday with the whole family. Mica is turning four and she always love to swim and play on the sand. I'm just happy that we can get discounts from vacation rentals in Panama City beach FL.
Last summer, my husband and I decided to do just this - we'd never rented a beach house before (always stayed in a motel) but we decided to experiment and rented a 4 bedroom house. We invited our two daughters and their families down for the week and it was a blast! Each morning, I would get up and take my two oldest grandchildren down to the beach to hunt for seashells. We'd each take a plastic bucket and come back with them full of wonderful shells each day! Just one of many great memories of the trip! Definitely helped me to relive my youth a little :) Thanks for the post!

As good as I like the beach, and the Myrtle Beach resorts oceanfront property – or any of the beaches that I have been too – the best thing is watching the kids playing in the ocean the first time, especially when they are still small. You can see the wonder on their faces as they play with the water’s edge! Just keep’em covered with sun block, and sun clothes are great for smaller kids. Helps keep them cool, helps keep the sun off of them!
